Here are some grow tips I learned along the way! Plz note that this is the first plant I’ve kept alive so I’m a plant noob & everything I learned was from google/trial and error. Also I live in California and grew this baby completely outdoors

I started off with a random seed from my brothers plug & germinated it so it would sprout. Once it sprouted I potted it in a smol pot aka a yogurt container. I used any old regular soil I could find from target and started off watering my plant once a week

Once it grew taller than the yogurt container was deep, I repotted it to a bigger container. Once my plant was around 5-6 weeks old I started watering it every couple of days instead of once a week bc I saw the soil was drying out faster than before

At around this time u can also top your plant where u cut off the top of the main stem so it directs plant growth to the sides and u get higher bud yield but I didn’t know this until too late so I ended up w a Christmas tree instead of a bush

I lucked out and got a female plant which started budding at around 14 weeks. I reported her again and now water her once a day and give her half a watering can of water each time (around 1 gallon).

I also started trimming leaves that were yellowing to redirect plant growth to the healthy leaves & buds but other than that didn’t do much to prune it. Gas mask in the second pic is bc we lived pretty close to the big cali fires & the air was bad but u gotta do what u gotta do

Here she is today at 20 weeks old! I just flushed her and am gonna dry her for a week without watering so I can harvest her next week

I also won’t grow another plant until next year bc I grew my plant completely outdoors & I started this one in late April/early May which happened to be perfect timing for the natural light cycles for the plant to grow/bud
