Closed a life chapter as I said adios to @Twitter professionally last week. It’s been an incredible 5.5 yrs & I’m grateful to have learned from so many of you. Sharing some of the goodness both in learnings & pics as I go forward

for the recruiting team at @TwitterBoulder. Building a team locally & getting the opportunity to manage from CO was something I never expected during my time w Twttr but so grateful that door was opened. Takeaway 1: Hire right & invest in ppl to build great culture

The day to day with my team I’ll miss the most. The Consumer TA team was my last team, but selfishly my fav of the
. I learned the most with these folks. Takeaway 2: Trust my instincts, celebrate all the wins/uplift each other often & wins are most rewarding as a team.

The RLT was a group I’m esp grateful I got to be apart of here. Learning both leadership and management from these folks has armed me with wisdom for my career. @STEMDrMGD - I cant thank you enough for your part in my own growth & development. Takeaway 3: Lead unapologetically.
Taking a break for a sec to
the friendships made. We celebrated all the special moments - birthdays, promotions & togetherness the entire way through. We made space for each other when things were hard. These are the things that connect us and made this beyond business.

. @TwitterForGood showed me philanthropy can have a place at work. It continues to inspire me. The folks in Boulder are especially committed to making the world around them better-I’m lucky I got to learn from them. Takeaway 4: It’s always a good use of your time to give back.
As a #latinx employee I learned the value of BRGs. Being involved in @TwitterAlas opened doors for me. Personal highlight was presenting to @jack & Staff w the Boulder BRG Leads. Takeaway 5: BRGs can effectively create community, empowerment & inclusion for underrepresented folks
Special shoutouts to @JamesLoduca who took time w me 1:1 during my last few weeks to give advice & feedback; and @d_lux_brand who took time to help Boulder BRGs best use our time w @jack. This kind of leadership - across locations, teams & levels is what I aspire to in my career.
Lastly @TwitterBoulder will always have a special place in my
. The people here are genuinely good humans & folks I will always consider familia. Takeaway 6: Everyone around you can teach you something new. Especially those in a diff field. Take time for that random coffee chat

Shoutout to Boulder leaders @whitneyrogers @ericwryan @ggreenstreet - some of the most impactful leadership lessons, I learned with y’all. Thank you for taking me under your wings as we grew the office. Takeaway 7: Leadership requires patience & people always come first.
The people across locations and teams make this company super special. Some are still here, some have moved forward on their own paths. I’m grateful you were apart of my journey. I’ll always be rooting for Team @Twitter.

Finally, what’s next? I’m going after an itch I’ve had for yrs- building a startup! I’m excited to join @AbnormalSec to lead & do all recruiting
