𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒' 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐄. (October 8, 2020)

“𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙨: 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣 𝙀𝙜𝙮𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜…

…𝙖𝙣 𝙃𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙬, 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙣.

𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙣, 𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙜𝙮𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙙.” 𝙀𝙭𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙨 𝟮 : 𝟭𝟭, 𝟭𝟮

The Lord made Moses well rounded.  He grew in the knowledge of Hebrew and the understanding of Yahweh, he was brought into the Palace to see the futility of the Egyptian’s religion and way of life.  And the Lord called him out of the palace to speak to him.

Moses came out to see the burden of his people. God was calling him to encounter him, he should have come to see God, rather he went to see the burden without agonising prayers to see God, Moses missed the encounter, he only went for the mission.

No doubt Moses had been brought up to know God, but he needed to encounter God, He must receive power, he must hear God directly.

Just like the disciples have to wait to be endued with power from on high, before they can go out for Jesus, Moses will not go out to rescue Israel, until he has met with God one on one. He must be commissioned for the assignment.

The atmospheric condition prevailing in the palace blocked his ears and his sight.  He could neither hear God nor see Him clearly from within the palace, and the Lord brought Moses out, peradventure God will catch his attention.

God have words of commissioning, assurance, tools of the ministry to be handed over to Moses, and much more Moses needed to be endued with power from on high.

Moses could be giant in stature and be well-built in frame; this battle is not going to be won with physical strength.

He could be conversant with the history, encounters, and covenant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but this battle will not be won by testimonies of another man’s experience of God.

He could be versed in the philosophy and wisdom of Egypt, but quotable quotes and philosophical sayings will not win the warfare. Moses need to be see God and be empowered directly by God.

This is because Israelites will want to know if the Lord has appeared to him before they will agree that he is their sent deliverer (Exodus 4:1).  Pharaoh too will eventually ask who is the Lord, (Exodus 5:2) and Moses must have ready answers for these questions.

LORD GOD, COME FOR ME IN A SPECIFIC ENCOUNTER.  I WANT TO SEE AND HEAR YOU.  I CANNOT BEGIN THIS ASSIGNMENT THAT YOU HAVE LAID UPON MY LIFE BY MERE ASSUMPTION AND SPECULATION. I NEED YOUR COMMISSIONING. SEND ME HELP, COME FOR ME, SPEAK TO ME, ENCOUNTER ME, INSTRUCT ME.
