hubie halloween's dedication to cameron boyce and why it's so heartwarming; a thread

to start out this thread, i wanted to include the actual dedication included at the end of the film. seeing this made me connect all of the dots that i hadn't realized before

now i want to talk about the cast besides adam. the film features a long list of disney channel and nickelodeon stars, all of whom were friends with cameron.

first is karan brar. karan starred as ravi alongside cameron in the disney channel show jessie. cameron and karan were best friends, and were roommates at the time of cameron's untimely passing. karan starred as deli mike mundi in hubie halloween

next is china anne mcclain. she and cameron were long time friends, starring in grown ups and grown ups 2 together. they both went on to be disney kids, and later starred in descendants 2 and 3 together. china plays chantal in hubie halloween

next is peyton list. peyton and cameron starred as emma and luke respectively in the disney channel show jessie. after cameron's passing, peyton paid tribute to him, referring to him as her brother. peyton plays peggy in hubie halloween

next is paris berelc. paris and cameron were close friends, both having been disney kids. paris was in mighty med, lab rats: elite force, and the dcom invisible sister. paris stars as megan in hubie halloween

next is bradley steven perry. bradley played gabe on good luck charlie. cameron and bradley were very close, growing up on two disney shows that aired during the same time. cameron and bradley graduated high school together. bradley plays cormac in hubie halloween

next is kelli berglund. kelli is known for playing bree davenport in the disney xd show lab rats. kelli and cameron were friends. if you google their names lots of pictures come up of the two at kelli's surprise 19th birthday party. she plays billie eilish girl in hubie halloween

next is kevin quinn, known for his role as xander in the jessie spinoff, bunk'd. cameron guest starred on one episode of bunk'd alongside kevin. he plays the pennywise guy in hubie halloween

now on to the nick kids! first up is lilimar. lilimar is best known for her roles in the nickelodeon shows bella and the bulldogs and knight squad. not to be biased but she's an underrated queen. her character in hubie halloween is unnamed

next is amber frank. you might remember her as taylor in the haunted hathaways. amber's character in hubie halloween is also unnamed. the last two pictures are from the set of hubie halloween, before cameron got the chance to shoot any scenes.

lastly is lance lim. lance is best known for his role as zack in the nickelodeon show school of rock. lance plays kyle in hubie halloween

hubie halloween began filming shortly after cameron's passing, starring 11+ people that cameron knew and loved. even though it is never officially stated anywhere, i think that many of these people came together to make one last film dedicated to cameron.

it was not announced until after cameron's passing who was in the film. when this list came out, there were so many people who had been in cameron's life.

while it is just a theory, it would make sense if this group of people did this to honor cameron. especially since he was supposed to be in the film. if this is true, i feel that it needs to be more recognized because i haven't seen anyone talking about this

i forgot to add! 6 members of the adult cast of grown ups (other than adam sandler) also appeared in the movie. this is further proof that these people all came together to honor cameron

just realized that isaak presley was also in hubie halloween. isaak has had his fair share of drama over the past year or so, but he’s still a disney kid and knew cameron. he plays the frankenstein kid
