i can’t believe V magazine really said “let’s make an article on the thought leaders of the world” and then went on to just covershoot lots of white hollywood actors and models as if the most important thought leaders we have in the world aren’t the complete opposite of that???

i haven’t actually gone and looked at everyone they shot for it but the only ones being promoted by people on my tl are bella hadid, taylor swift and chris evans? none of whom i consider thought leaders of the world

i’m reacting this way because so many of our greatest thought leaders don’t have the platform these hollywood celebs do and V magazine really could of amplified some more important voices with this series rather than just the same typical celebrities we see time and time again

even an up and coming thought leaders series would be great too! but giving these celebrities the title of a thought leader just because they done a few political things recently doesn’t really do it for me i’m afraid
