You see a lot of weird auto industry "insights" on Tesla forums/subreddits/comments sections, but this one is next-level. The idea that Chrysler influences Daimler to this day is hilarious enough, but I really want to know where this alleged "development order" theory comes from.

Like, maybe someone just made it up out of whole cloth... but what an odd thing to just invent. Can anyone think of where this belief might have originated? Like, was there something they just misunderstood?
