good videos to watch for portal 1
this is a video which shows the main kind of plot and story and how a player, who went in completely blind would see it, in a way... it explains the game a lot for such a short video and it is a good starting point
i dont really recommend to many gameplays for portal 1... but if you do choose someones first gameplay instead of a more experienced player... portal 1 gameplay is more mechanic based and less story based BUT there is still a lot of suttle story hints...
quick explanation of the game! it goes a lot more into detail about mechanics and stuff
other videos that are fun to watch are speedruns... portal has A LOT of speedrunning skips and glitches which are pretty hard to do but fun to pull off. and you can watch certain speedrunners beat it in around 20-30 mins when my first playthrough was about 5 hours
a fun video by krinios where he is having his first playthrough of portal and former world record holders helped him speedrun yhe game and he eventually got a pretty good time.. which is crazy its a really fun watch and its krinios
this is another cool speedrun where a group of speedrunners all beat the game in a segmented speedrun with only 15 portals which is FUCKING AMAZING so cool
if u do watch any gameplay i do recommend jack septiceye because he did a playthrough earlier this year and i believe it was a blind run
thats my main favourite parts of the first game and if u cant play it they are great starts and yknow i do recommend it at some point in ur life u should play it because it is an plder source game it runs on most modern laptops pcs.. and i even first played it on xbox 360 7 years

ok now PORTAL 2
portal 2 is my favourite game of all time. it does what portal 1 did. BUT SO MUCH BETTER... especially story wise and there was so much scenery and places and it was so much better story and mechanic wise.
NOW portal 2 is a lot better to watch gameplay of in my opinion because there is a lot more interaction usually when youtubers play it so i recommend them more!!
if you dont want to watch a full gameplay this is a MUCH shorter version and it shows a lot of the games best moments
jack septiceye ALSO played portal 2 a few months ago and i recommended that a lot i only watched the first few but his interactions with it made it so much better
this is a full gameplay version and i highly recommend watching it if you liked the shorterned down version.. theres a lot of cut funny lines in there....
portal 2 doesnt have the most surrounding it content wise because its awesome on its own BUT there is a lot of speedrunning on this game too!
these are the other krinios portal 2 speedeunning videos AND the second one is co op which is a lot of the games fun
co op is where you can play as atlus and p-body (gay little robots) and you complete your silly little tasks (test chambers) and there is a seperate much smaller story line but i would recommend a full gameplay of that or game grumps also did a vid on it
