It's almost never needed but even if you do raise your hand you have no right to hit them solely to inflict pain and fear. I believe raising kids should be rewarding good behaviour and punish bad behaviour right. Hitting your child isn't enough though. They need to know why

whatever they did was wrong and why they shouldn't repeat it. You should raise good kids not sneaky once.

So in conclusion: i think hitting your kid is to some degree acceptable if there'sa reason to and it's done right. When I get kids I really hope I won't have to.

But I can't promise that I won't either. It really just is the easy way out for a lot of parents. I promise that when and if I do there will be a reason for it and I would never hurt my own child
