i. i swear to god. i had the cheesiest fuckign final boss battle i cheesed the fuck out of it . i feel absolutely no pride in this i just let demeters' casts do all the damage and hid behind pillars while my health regenerated enough to not get one shot

i beat an entire run and thanatos still didnt ufcking spawn EVER WHERE ARE YOU !! ! ! IM SICK

actually i think finn's technique worked cause i specifically depleted all my HP in the minotaur fight to see if it would work and.. like clockwork..

i ended up completing two more runs when i was solely trying to make him spawn again to give him the nectar his keepsake is the only one im missing i swear to god stop ghosting me

but also i had a really crazy run where i stacked all my boons on the gun's special so the final boss fight was just me trying to align the boss into th e nuke zone for 10 minutes and it took like 10 hits because i was making 1.5K crits

anyway i really love how this game implements replayability by supplementing with lore its like ..... i HAVE to complete runs to know the lore and i HAVE to grind to befriend the sexy npcs but its worth it because the lore/writing is good and the game is fun thank you sg games

my favorite bit is every time before entering the furies boss room zag tries to guess whos inside and always gets it wrong

i cant stop thinking about that one time he was like "please be meg" and then entered and was like "alecto! :)" in a really sarcastic tone

than keeps teleporting away before ican give him gifts i jsut want to chuck it at his head

good lord i told myself id do one casual run before bed & it ended up being the most broken run lmao

i have a higher number of completed runs than failed runs.. this doesnt mean im good it just means im particularly good at finding the most broken combos to delete the final boss

also meg's route is so tense she keeps telling me to die LOL.. not just meg's honestly it feels like zag is just into people who are as in tune with their emotions as a brick wall

also i maxed out dusa's affinity like way before anyone else's but i didnt get the little . the icon that shows the gauge is maxed out in the keepsakes am i missing something?? i think there's an event that's just not triggering

you know whats refreshing bout this game's dialogue tho, not having to hear all the unnecessary homophobic remarks like how its """weird"" for people of the same gender to date then shrug it off, its really not that much to ask and yet it feels like a milestone was achieved

like what i mean is that at no point in the progression of the romances (both patro/chilles and zag/than) people stop to point out for any reason that theyre both men. its a thing that i almost always expect in any media with lgbt 'rep' and they didnt do it here and im smiling

i regret not recording the silly interaction i had earlier where zag imitated the sound of the toll that sounds when thanatos spawns and then than was like "together we will kill you all" and zag said "YEAH!!!" im a mess i love them so much

felt absolute dread for an entire run because than appeared early and said "see you at home' before leaving and i thought i was gonna come back to the little heart prompt my head was pounding

i cant with the way he imitates the toll

my only regret with my playthrough is that i missed LOTS of dialogue from many npcs because i got the true ending very early on and the stakes were completely eliminated.... some of them were like "oh so you were able to escape" after i already escaped 50 times

it WAS easier since i played in godmode bc i was focused on the story but maybe someday ill restart a new file w/o godmode and see if i can get all the dialogue i missed. im looking at than specifically who only showed up after the true ending lol
