it has come to my attention that The Intimacy Experiment (or as i think of it, Naomi’s book) is available on netgalley. having a second book “out” so soon on the heels of debut feels strange and scary and a little exciting but mostly the first two...

i haven’t talked much about TIE here yet but i plan to in the future. it was a book i wasn’t sure i was ready to write about a character that intimidated me (maybe as her creator i should feel embarrassed about that but i don’t)

anyway, TIE ~feels~ different than TR and i wanted to give any potential early readers a lil heads up about what to expect (but not too much heads up because frankly i think a fair amount of people found TR surprising, maybe even in a good way!)

maybe you didn’t know if you’d connect w/ a porn star hero but then you did! maybe now you’re not sure how you feel about a hot rabbi (the hero of TIE) but i hope you’ll give me the chance to once again introduce you to a character who’s profession is part, but not all of him

and my sweet, brave, brilliant Naomi—with her armor and her hip cocked like a gun—theres so much more of her you’ll get to know in this book. i hope i did her justice, she might be the love of my life

all this to say that to me...

TR feels like a shot of tequila—it makes you flushed and a little sweaty—loose and giggly and brave. a little wild

TIE is the breakfast you make for someone you could love after spending your first night together—vulnerable, eager, tender, hopeful
