I don’t usually make any personal statements. I try to stick to politics and news. However. We have been confined voluntarily due to virus. My wife teaches 6th graders with special needs math online. She is 72. I never had any idea how dedicated these educators are! Many are

still learning the necessary technology. These kids are very special as are these dedicated teachers who are underpaid and overworked. They love these kids. The best are leaving the profession for better jobs. These children are talented and need compassion.

I can’t tell you how proud I am of all these great teachers and these special kids who will have a difficult road ahead. We will lose the best ones if we don’t appreciate their hard work and dedication. One day. Sit in on their classes. It is worth it.

And my thanks to all who have responded so kindly to the thread. It is sincerely appreciated. Be kind to these wonderful teachers. The children are in good hands.
