Every college football program and NFL team at some point rolled back participation of Blacks.

There are literally no exceptions

UCLA is one example: Jackie Robinson was on the 1939 Bruins - the first football team in history to have multiple Black stars.

One year after Jackie left, UCLA played Florida.

Per the Gators request, UCLA benched it’s only black player.

Two years later, UCLA was all-white.

UCLA is one of literally hundreds of schools/teams that resegregated after initially allowing Blacks to play.

And in the case of UCLA, the school did not bench Jackie when the Bruins played TAMU, TCU and SMU but changed that policy after he left. Progress is never chronological.

of course the best example of integration never progressing chronologically is what is happening in major league baseball right now.

the percentage of Blacks Americans who are MLB players has fallen to levels last seen when Jackie himself was still playing for the Dodgers.

Because Blacks are a special case in the United States.

How so?

One example: The University of Texas football program never barred Hispanics or Native Americans from playing football - or any race - except Blacks, who were barred until the 1970s.
