Black Panthers also used their school lunches to promote ethnonationalism and glorification of BP leaders, they'd hang up propaganda of BP leadership and use them for political indoctrination. It wasn't just some charitable program.

One of the most influential people who lead the campaign to expand school lunch/breakfast was Jean E. Fairfax, who served in the NAACP from 1965 to 1984.
