THREAD: Minnesota, if we’re going to tackle climate change, we need to vote out @SenatorEichorn.

Listen to Justin Eichorn respond to a question on climate change at a recent debate. It's a wonder he hasn't been cited for littering since his answer is pure trash.

Here's why:
"Should we tackle climate change? To some degree, probably, but..."

Sorry, got to stop you right there, Justin! Your answer on climate change cannot contain the words "probably", "to some degree" and "but."

@SenatorEichorn just doesn't get that action is urgently needed.
"...before humans were even here, there were you know... Minnesota was covered with ice."

Yikes, gotta stop you again, Justin.

Yes, the climate has changed in the past, but that does nothing to change the fact that human activity is causing serious harm to our environment.
If you need help understanding why this is the case, @SenatorEichorn, take a look at this helpful and horrifying comic. It offers a good breakdown of why you’re extremely wrong, and you don’t even have to read any big words! https://www.vox.com/2016/9/12/12891814/climate-change-xkcd-graphic
"There's certainly science on both sides of the issue."

Nope! Sorry, @SenatorEichorn, you can’t “both sides” climate change.

The science is settled: climate change is real, human activity is playing a massive role in it, and we need to take action now to safeguard our future.
Justin wants to talk about climate change at the discussion level rather than legislate to have an effect?

That doesn't mean anything.

It's a string of nonsense mouth-noises from a politician too scared to say he doesn’t believe in climate change and won’t do anything about it.
The west coast of America is on fire in large part due to climate change.

Look at those terrifying images. This will only get worse unless we take action. Sadly, @SenatorEichorn won’t do anything to combat this menace to our state, nation, and planet. https://twitter.com/ABC/status/1311429633007644672
Folks, we can't afford to screw around with the future of our planet. @SenatorEichorn doesn't get that, but his DFL opponent, @RitaforSenate, does.
