What @rolandsmartin did yesterday was thoughtless and it was done in haste and when he was called upon to correct himself he doubled down in attacks. That “Call to action” was not done in good faith but rather a lack of research.

What should have happened was @rolandsmartin should’ve taken the basic demographic information from said “group” confirmed that this information is coming from actual registered voters here in the US and created a strategy on his platform to engage said voters

What I saw yesterday was somebody looking to troll, somebody looking to upset the tl with threats of “YOUR CAMPAIGN ISNT DOING ENOUGH” instead of yannoe actually using their platform productively to give voters information that they’ve collected.

Because ima tell ya something. #BidenHarrisWatch was something we put together in a fucking group chat. We don’t get paid for this work. We do it because its our lives at stake as well.

So my thing is when will @rolandsmartin show up like his livelihood depends on a Biden Harris win as well. Does he believe he will not be impacted by 4 more years of Trump as a 1099? Hell I would be telling as many folks as possible to get up and vote if it were me.

But again, like most pundits @rolandsmartin decided to hide behind a guise of “its above me-ism” instead of leading the conversation with the platform he has built. Passing the buck doesn’t make you any less responsible when things go to shit. We all have to do our part.
