There’s a rhythm to life just like with music, you can naturally feel the pull effortlessly. This natural rhythm of the tides in the ocean are as violently turbulent as the ebb and flow in life.
Taking a clue from nature we can see that just like in life its good to go with the state of flow.
Ebb and Flow (also called Ebb flood and flood drain) are two phases of the tide ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tide ) or any similar movement of water.

The Ebb is the outgoing phase, when the tide drains away from the shore; and the flow is the incoming phase when water rises again. ~Wikipedia

…with the current.
Reminder to ebb and flow through life and most of all enjoy the ride! Deciding to see if their was a actual state to this feeling and this is what I found below, very interesting.

Riding The Flow State
In positive psychology ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Positive_psychology), a flow state, also known colloquially as being in the zone, is the mental state ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mental_state)in which a person performing some activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and…
…enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, flow is characterized by the complete absorption in what one does, and a resulting transformation in one's sense of time. ~ Wikipedia
“We have so little faith in the ebb and flow of life, of love, of relationships. We leap at the flow of time and resist in terror its ebb. We are afraid it will never return.
We insist on permanency, on duration, on continuity; when the only continuity possible in life, as in love, is in growth, in fluidity - in freedom. ~Anne Morrow Lindbergh” –
The quote above really sums it all up the best when comparing ebb and flow to life in general. The ocean has no fear, water does what it needs to get to where it has to go. It will make a new path if that is what is required. Wow, now let that sink in for a moment.
October is a reflection month for me I feel due to the changing of the seasons and my birthday. Reflecting over the year and everything that has led me to this time here and now. With each year I get better with ease in the ebb and flow of life.
The growth never stops and either does change. bring it!
