Yeah I haven& #39;t felt right watching Jontron since I learned about that whole thing. Tried the whole "disconnect the art from the artist" thing and it doesn& #39;t work. If you have a conscience, it makes it impossible to support people that genuinely think that& #39;s ok to perpetuate. https://twitter.com/beppucado/status/1313689512049086464">https://twitter.com/beppucado...
There are shitty people that are funny, but I don& #39;t want to listen to what they have to say because I& #39;d be lying to myself if I ignored the things they stand for, the things they& #39;ve said, and the things I know they& #39;ve done.
There are consequences to your actions, and I& #39;m not sure where the area of forgiveness lies in every situation. All I know is if you use bad people as a harmless example of something (like use them as a reaction gif, even in a positive way), SOMEONE will be changed by it.
SOMEONE will see it and think they& #39;re ok to do the same. This is very dangerous without context. Especially with impressionable kids that want to fit in and like what other people like for the sake of connection. ESPECIALLY on tiktok where people can repost audio without credit.
I& #39;m not the best example, especially with how bad of a person I was as a kid. Warped by my upbringing and moulded into something I look back on now with absolute disgust at myself, and my influences.
If you genuinely don& #39;t think any of this stuff matters and you think people are taking the internet too seriously, just remember cause and effect.

Despite what you may have heard, people are very impressionable.
