Good morning California voters
I hate the sound of my own voice, but as my go-to resource for research on state propositions and ballot measures isn’t updated yet - I went and did it myself...
My interpretation (I’m not a lawyer) of each CA Prop from Ballotpedia, a thread

My interpretation (I’m not a lawyer) of each CA Prop from Ballotpedia, a thread

Prop 14: $5.5 billion towards Stem Cell Research

Prop 15: taxing commercial real estate (worth over $3m) on purchase vs current market value

Prop 16: repeals Prop 209 and allows for race, sex, color, and ethnicity info to be gathered. Can be a double edged sword so think on it! (And yes I spelled affirmative wrong)

Prop 17: re-enfranchisement! Allows for those convicted of felonies who have served their time to vote while on parole

Prop 18: allows 17 year olds to vote in special elections if they will be 18 by the next general election. YAY TEENAGERS!
