I myself have been in a situation at work, where I was spiralling so much, I was literally suicidal. I didn’t have the media, the public and a few thousand ‘fans’ to deal with on top of that. It was really fkn hard to admit how hard I was struggling to DO MY JOB...

So think of how hard that decision must have been for Harry to mentally make himself; and then actually suggest, after a massive tour, an album drop, and the band being at the height of their fame. No way could that have been easy, but he did it for THEM. Not just himself. THEM.

You know, I’d understand if hiatus was announced and Harry released a solo single a week later, but he DIDN’T?! He wasn’t even the bloody first to go solo! He had a well fkn deserved timeout and he THOUGHT for once for HIMSELF, after having to think for EVERYONE first for YEARS..

Same for the other boys. They get to be solo and do THEIR thing, after having to do EVERYONE else’s thing for YEARS. It doesn’t mean they didn’t enjoy it, we know they did, but they’d reached a point of needing a BREAK, a proper one. Suggesting that was never going to be easy...

...also, it’s never guaranteed you’re gonna be snapped up as a soloist either. Luckily, they’re now all doing their thing, so why on EARTH does Harry get so much hate; when in reality, all he did was give them the break they all very much needed; but were too scared to ask for?!

None of us will ever know the true extent of what went on, but Harry has always spoken highly of the others, and his time in the band, has never once given false promises about the hiatus, and has done nothing but carve out a solo career for himself, just as the others have done.

Dear haters: Harry is going to continue to be unapologetically himself; and his success will continue to grow daily, with or without you.
