My interaction with a journalist today made me realize 5 things:
1. people are increasingly using regionalism as a tool to further their secessionist agenda;
2. journalists are experts at showing half truths and only their side of the story;
3. victim card is the most powerful

card to have. You can play it regardless of your sex and religion as long as you can manage to create a narrative strong enough to evoke an emotional response (and you are a left leaning, anti BJP, pseudo liberal);
4. it is okay to tell someone to leave your state/ country as

long as you are anti BJP. But yes, we cannot extend the same logic to you & ask you to go to Bangladesh/ Pakistan because then you will cry foul; and
5. journalists can portray half truth and not give you the option to reply back lest their hypocrisy gets blown up on their face.
