In cold heavy conditions the ball travels through the air much slower. That's one thing, but then when u add the element of heavy tennis balls into the equation, then the balls will travel EVEN slower than that

This means players who use topspin will be at a slight disadvantage
And it also conversely means those who hit the ball flat, have a slight advantage, because they're less handicapped by the conditions than those who use topspin.

Hence Tsitsipas is struggling more than he otherwise would be in this matchup vs Rublev. He uses spin. Rublev flat.
Is also why Rafael Nadal has absolutely ZERO chance of coming through Djokovic and that's if he even makes it that far.

Djokovic uses spin too, but has flatter strokes overall & particularly on his backhand.

Penetrating shots win with these balls & conditions. I realise now.
It explains why Sofia Kenin blew past Ferro in Sets 2 and 3 and I couldn't understand why.

The atmospheric conditions impact tennis on all surfaces, but none more so on clay.

It is genuinely a science. Something an outsider will never understand.
Jannik Sinner would have beaten Nadal yesterday had he not been injured. Nadal needs hot sunny weather to counteract how heavy the balls are, in order to make them more aerodynamic and act as an equaliser to how heavy the balls i,diotic #RolandGarros are choosing to use this year
I am pretty certain that @rolandgarros have deliberately made their balls heavy, knowing that this will extremely hurt Nadal and deliver them a new winner.

Knowing the fans, particularly their own are not fans of his very artificial game-style.
This piece of valuable insight will go over the head of 90% of my followers.

However, those with a solid IQ will understand me and act accordingly in the tennis markets.
And that is why if Djokovic doesnt win the French this year, it will b more shocking than him being disqualified for accidentally hitting a line-umpire in Melbourne & getting DQ'ed from the tournament

Nadal needs hot sunny weather against Schwartzman tomorrow to get through that
