1/ Photographer @carriedavenport recently took a photo of EVERY person involved in putting together a drive in event run by @MayWeEvents
2/ "I've been doing a few photos for #WeMakeEventsNI as I think it’s really important freelancers in the entertainment industry rally together and try and promote our cause.

I miss the atmosphere of working live gigs, the energy, the excitement and most of all the people.
3/ I don't go to an office everyday or a set place of work. The folk I meet at events doing jobs similar to my own, behind the scenes building sets, lighting gigs, mixing sound or shooting photos like myself.

They are my workmates and we are all in the same boat right now.
4/ I'm at least lucky enough to have some work still on as I can do a variety of things, but I'm still down overt 80% of earnings. Many of my friends have no work at all and are considering changing careers.
5/ This would be such a huge loss to the industry and that's why this is so important. We turn to music and the arts for more than just enjoyment. They have a huge impact on our lives. If we lose all the people who make these things happen then where do we turn?”
