Re: the U-Orthodox/Hasidic community and #COVID.

PLEASE LISTEN TO THOSE WHO KNOW (and those who have left) the community. IT'S NOT ANTISEMITISM. NOT EVEN A BIT.

Yes, it's not everyone, there are amazing people (like @jacobkornbluh, @MeyerLabin, and others) who have been >

So, listen to them now - they will tell you who is at fault (like this amazing tweet from @MeyerLabin: https://twitter.com/MeyerLabin/status/1313731539625291777)

DON'T Listen to people who have been flaunting >

And now that there has been an uptick in most UO/Hasidic neighborhoods, they scream hey, it's antisemitism.

Antisemitism would be saying "Jews are at fault."
Antisemitism would be targeting a community, as opposed to places with a specific number of positive tests.

Frankly, antisemitism would be the government continuing to ignore as my former Hasidic community gets sick, as my immunocompromised grandparents are put at risk - and NOT impose new restrictions.

We NEED to call out the culprit.
We need to point out people who ignore safety

With all due respect to people like my friend @JonahNYC, labeling this as antisemitism is counter productive.

Yes, the Hasidic community gets targeted the most with antisemitism.
No, COVID lockdowns, and calling them out for ignoring safety, isn't one of them.
