Cults teach you that the righteousness of your cause is a protective factor.

They all reinforce the notion that the rules of the outside world, be they social, physical or biological don't actually apply to you.

I assure you that the combined forces of the conservative fascist echo chamber and the cult of personality have convinced these people that they are immune to the dangers of Covid-19.

And any disconfirming evidence will be argued away.

And if someone does die, they will just roll that death into the narrative and keep it pushing.

Just ask Herman Cain.

Seriously. He's been dead of Covid-19 a while but still active on Twitter and is still caping for the pandemic.

And do not delude yourselves by thinking that the fact that Cain was Black wasn't really easy to ignore, given that this political death cult is composed almost exclusively at this point of white supremacists.

It's a layered situation too, because this cult is ecumenical.

There is a large swath that actually incorporates Christianity into the death cult and these people are actually magical thought true believers

Then there's the secular cult nihilists, motivated by crime and greed

Then there's a bunch of members who were actually headed to the convention next door, but wandered into the wrong gathering and got caught up and stayed because of what they were selling.

All these groups have different motivations but are united by white nationalism
