They are talking about how they don’t connect with “this perspective “ and they’re so disinterested in black pain. It is no wonder why this country is what it is

They are upset that the black listeners are telling them that #LovecraftCountry isn’t for them that’s why they can’t connect. They don’t like that they are facing themselves & how they have contributed to racism.

They are calling #LovecraftCountry “polarizing” and “divisive”. Divisive is a word they use instead of “you’re making white ppl feel bad”

I can tell you about White History. We could talk at length about all of the White Explorers who set my ppl back forever. But you seeing how your parents made black ppl’s lives a horror movie on #LovecraftCountry is called divisive? No; it’s called the truth.

They loved the episode in Korea. (I wonder why)
They hated the episode on Hippolyta & called moments that represented a middle-aged black woman being free “poorly done”. #LovecraftCountry

They refer to racism as past tense. Racism is an “IS” not a “WAS”

Dude said he didn’t think they were talking about that “smell” being Emmit’s body

Another podcast said they were so happy they didn’t show emitt because that was excessive & that Christina having them kill her how he was killed was “excessive, unnecessary & poorly done”. That’s exactly how black ppl feel about his death-poorly done

This is finally a mainstream show where black ppl are centered. They prefer the horror sci-fi & light hearted. Imagine having that option! Our lives are horrors. We can’t just go in another direction #LovecraftCountry

Why weren’t y’all this upset about the wire? Because you think drugs in a black thing that we do to ourselves. But when you see something that’s on you & your ppl—you’re mad #LovecraftCountry
