A Vietnamese teenager buttons up her mother's blouse after she was sexually sexually assaulted by American soldiers. They were killed moments after this photo was taken on the 16th of March 1968 as part of the My Lai massacare

A massacare that took the lives of more than 500 unarmed civilians on the hands of the American army. They killed men, women, elders, children and infants. Most of the women were gang raped, alot of the bodies found were mutilated.

The American judiciary system only convicted the platoon leader. He was charged with killing 22 people and was given a life sentence, which was then reduced to a three and a half years house arrest.
