Dahil narealize kong puro psychological/mental stuggle yung nilagay ko kanina, gumawa ako ng bago
Bakit mahirap magsimula bilang graphic/motion graphic freelance artist dito sa Pilipinas?

V. 2.0
1. Pag nadinig nilang freelance, iisipin agad nila gagawin lang pag free time
Most people wouldn't take your job seriously dahil hindi ka fully committed sa isang company lang
To the extent that some wouldn't even consider you a professional
2. Since freelance ka, you will provide your own equipment. Most of the time, costly kasi
2.d. dahil nagsisimula pa lang, most beginners endure using around 4y/o i3 laptops so it is normal to deal with excessive lag and often crashes ng program
3. Time consuming and costly ang mag-aral ng design and specific programs
A 3-6 month TESDA certification course would cost you between 20-60k depending on which school you'll enroll
Hindi pa macocover ng course lahat ng kailangan but it would be a good headstart sa industry
Option din yung self-learning but it would take time looking for credible sources and most of the time it would still cost money
Another option is to take a specific a degree sa design, viscom, marketing and such but this option is the most costly sa oras at sa pera
4. Mabilis mag-evolve ang industry. 6 months without self-improvement/updating your program preferences malaki ang chances na mapag-iwanan ka na agad
5. Kailangan mong humabol sa trend so your portfolio needs constant updating
And hindi lahat ng clients mo pwede mong ilagay sa portfolio since karamihan may NDA and some are not portfolio-worthy dahil sa preferences ng client kaya aside sa work for your clients kailangan mo ding magproduce ng mock-ups for the sake of your portfolio
6. Madalas may "unwanted publicity". Hindi ko alam yung tamang term but I'm not pertaining sa bad publicity but sa mga clients na hinikayat ng parents/relatives na most of the time ay walang bayad at magiging priority client pa dahil ayaw mong mapahiya yung nagrefer sa'yo
Ex. "Uy ala mo ba si <freelancer> ang gumawa niyan. Diba may <business> ka? Sa kanya ka na magpagawa ng <services> ako na kakausap."
7. Most people underestimates you and your job since "yung computer naman ang gumagawa ng lahat"
7.a. madalas mo madidinig ang "pagawa/paedit naman nito. Madali lang naman 'to diba?"
8. Sobrang competitive ng industry. You need to stand out para magkaroon ng trabaho and return clients
8.a. a simple setback sa isang client may crush your image sa isang network
8.b. there are other competition that would cost a lot less than your rate kaya mapipilitan ka madalas magbaba ng rate mo just to get jobs
