There’s a western conspiracy to limit or should I say totally erase the contributions of Muslim empires to the world. Take the ottomans for example, there are three or maybe four sultans who have quite ushered new discoveries in science that was hitherto unknown.

history despite the massive progress and discoveries that happened during his reign. He was one of the greatest military leaders to have ever lived. His conquest of Constantinople ought to be studied by future military leaders. Mind you Constantinople before then had survived

Kamal Ataturk turned it into a secular edifice in 1934 while the UN designated it a world heritage site afterwards.
Recently president Erogan turned it back into a mosque but it’s still open to visitors and its Christian architecture untouched. I would love to visit it someday.
