1.Find a video/gif of a breathing exercise to send them and try to calm them down.
2.Ask them some questions.(exa. What’s your favorite color? What’s your favorite genre of movies, etc.) to get their mind off of it.
3.Tell them to look around them, Find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste.
4.tell them to listen to some calming music or a calming podcast(also send them some if you’d like).
5.tell them to think of something that makes them happy.
6.tell them to feel free to tell you what is happening because it helps to talk about it and if they don’t feel comfortable talking about them then tell them to write it down.
