Katsuki Bakugo, the infamous barbarian prince of the dragonborne kingdom, had already resigned to his fate that he was going to die with https://twitter.com/WeebTrash04/status/1313120308774072326
his virginity fully intact.

Nobody really did it for him and the closest thing that he's ever gotten to his sexual awakening was when he first saw the elven halfling. But he quickly realized that the elf and the blonde himbo were absolutely smitten with each
each other and he respected that. He was an asshole but he wasn't about to get in the way of people who were clearly in love with each other.

He wasn't desperate enough to get his dick wet using the countless extras that would constantly throw themselves at him. There was
always something off about them and he couldn't exactly put it into words. He wanted someone who could keep him on his toes. Someone who could push him to be his very best. Someone worth loving.

So yeah, he was gay as fuck and he was pretty sure that he was into cute twinks,
sue him for having tastes and standards that no other extra could step up to, he isn't going to degrade himself by settling on some loser.

Besides, his family wasn't too worried about heirs either, after all in this world of magic and potions, nothing was really impossible.
Yes, he's willing to admit that most of the time he'd rather be alone. He doesn't want to burden anybody else with his problems. He doesn't want anybody else to pay for his mistakes. He doesn't want anybody to be judged for being associated with him, his reputation was already-
terrible enough outside of the kingdom, but that isn't his fucking fault okay? He couldn't keep track of the times where he tried to help, only to get pushed away and misunderstood because of how he looks and talks. He hated moments like that. It only fucking added to his ever
growing list of insecurites and expectations that constantly haunt and threaten to consume his mind. But it was moments like those that made it hard and lonely to be alone.

So if he was doomed to live a life of solitude, what can he do about it? He just wishes that he would be-
able to be strong enough to brush it all off.

But no, apparently, life has decided that they wanted to fuck with him. So color him surprised when he literally stumbles onto a fucking freckled angel that looked like the very personification of his wet dreams.
Did he mention that the said angel was the twinkiest twink to have ever walked these lands, had the juciest ass and was fucking /naked/?

No? Well now you know.

But he was Katsuki motherfucking Bakugo, and even if this twink made him horny as hell, he was a
man that respected personal boundaries and consent.

So he puts on his best professional behavior and quickly checks the greenette's body for any injuries that required immediate attention. He mentally notes that there were no injuries present. He moves on to check the man's
vital signs and discovers that everything was stable and normal. Odd. Maybe he was under a spell?

Remembering the other's state of undress, he quickly removes his cape and covers the greenette with it. The prince contemplates on what to do with the unconscious man and quickly
decides that he could just bring him to the citadel and be checked by the healer, and if he turned out to be dangerous... well, it's not like he was knew the man well enough anyways.
- -
A week after, the prince overhears that the kingdom has found a new and very amusing source
of entertainment, watching him attempt to court the literal embodiment of sunshine that was named Izuku Midoriya and if you asked the prince how he found the situation, he would say that it infuriated and amused him as well.

Technically, according to the rules, he isn't being-
rejected, rather, he was in a competition where Izuku accepted all the courting gifts even when he had no clue on what they meant.

Gods it's only been a week and Katsuki was absolutely smitten with him. Izuku was like a breath of fresh air. He looked at Katsuki with breathtaking
emerald eyes filled with pure adoration as if he was the very man who hung the moon and stars onto the night sky. His insatiable curiousity paired with his sharp analytical mind made conversations with Izuku challenging and entertaining. But most of all, what truly made Izuku
attractive was his kindness and his never ending desire to help.

Not even a month into meeting the man and Katsuki already wanted to spoil him rotten. Maybe that's why he got him the earrings. It was his way of keeping Izuku safe.
Magic Items that were made from a dragon were highly coveted amongst high ranking adventurers and other royal families. Items made from the fangs alone gave the user immunity against all kinds of poison, while items made from the scales gave them a defense boost and immunity from
fire. But, Nemuri saw right through him and knew that he was considering on giving his blood as well. So she made the choice for him by handing him the knife. Cunning bitch.

Blood that was willingly given by a dragon was one of the hardest materials to collect, not only did it
give extremely powerful and useful benefits, such as immunity to disease and advanced recovery but it also gave the user the life longevity of dragons, which honestly was way too fucking long in Katsuki's opinion. Giving their blood away was largely symbolic in their culture too.
It means that they are willingly bound to live the rest of their lives to the person that they offered their blood. Katsuki knows that it feels like he just made a hasty decision, like he's rushing in to a mistake.

But it just feels /right/ you know?
He knows that there isn't anybody else who is going to make him feel this way. He knows that nobody could ever compare to Izuku and it's fine if he never finds out the meaning behind those earrings. It's fine if he chooses somebody else. What mattered to Katsuki the most
was Izuku's well being and happiness anyways. He knows he would be okay with watching from the sides and supporting him silently.

It's going to be hard to do, but that's okay, he was used to being alone after all.
- -
It was mesmerizing to see Izuku grow so much in a year. Within 5 months of training with Mirio, not only did he master the basic skills but he quickly moved on to practicing the more advanced techniques that even his generals struggled to master. The way he combined his newfound-
skills with strategies that only that nerdy mind could think of impressed both Katsuki and his mother. Sometimes she would invite him along in meetings and make him an unofficial advisor.

"But Katsuki! He's going to be your royal consort anyways! This can ease him into it!"
He remembers his mother telling him when he found out.

Katsuki once told him that he could lessen the amount of training that he did so he could focus on potion making instead. But the boy refused and told him that he still had so much more to learn and that he was perfectly
fine with his schedule. Then he proceeded ti pester Katsuki into sparring and giving him more tips instead.

He remembers struggling against Izuku that day. It was kind of hard to spar and hide his boner at the same fucking time you know?
Speaking of the nerd's potion making, he continued to impress Aizawa by proving to the man that he was a living and breathing encyclopedia of plants and beasts. Whenever Katsuki visited to see how the greenette was doing, he would the him trailing after the constantly
tired man with a notebook in hand asking questions and noting his own personal observations. You would think that the potion master would be aggravated by the constant questioning, but he only regarded the freckled boy with a fond look and answer his questions to the best of his
abilities.

But that's not to say that Izuku never made Aizawa stressed. Katsuki discovered that another reason why Aizawa allowed the boy to stay close to him was because Izuku could never be left unsupervised when he started to mutter. He loved to experiment in
creating new potions or looking for ways or ingredients to change so that an existing potion could be improved. Sometimes he would come up with truly genius ideas and execute them perfectly, but most of the time it was a disaster.

The first potion that Izuku had mastered and
improved was the healing potion. He made the potion more effective and even added a pain relief effect to it when he was told that people tend to grit their teeth through the pain of their bones being reset and restructured when they took healing potions.
Izuku looked pained when he heard that. "What? You guys don't have Advil?"

Both Katsuki and Aizawa wore equal looks of confusion when he asked and that speaks volumes because Aizawa was the best motherfucking potionmaster out there.

"What's 'Advil'?" Aizawa asks
Izuku tilts his head to the side. Cute. "Like... a potion for pain relief!"

"No, that doesn't exist either."

"What about a numbing potion?"

"We don't have that either."

"Then... how do you do surgeries?"

"We give them a sleeping potion and hope that they stay asleep."
"What happens... when they wake up?"

"Either we knock them out again or they grit their teeth."

Izuku paled at Aizawa's answer. With that in mind, the greenette set to work on two new potions. Under Aizawa's guidance and Katsuki's help with the fetching the ingredients,
the freckled man finally created two new potions after 9 grueling months of trial and error. He aptly named them 'Advil' for pain relief and 'Lidocaine' for the numbing potion.

The kingdom collectively gave him a thumbs up after that.
As much as it was impressive to see Izuku advance both his sword fighting and potion making, it was hilarious to see him struggle with the language and culture and that was all Katsuki's fault.

"Kacchan how do you say 'Good morning, you look pretty today auntie!'
in Draconian?" Izuku asks while they walked together to a meeting.

"/Pota ka han iya eroy, ka raraksot nim yana nga adlaw./" Katsuki answers without thinking twice.

"Oh that's a mouthful. Last one for today I promise! How do you say 'Thank you'?"

"/Leche ka./"
"Oh okay! /Leche ka/ Kacchan!" Izuku says with a bright smile on his face

"/Leche ka gihap,/ Deku" Katsuki chuckles as he opens the door to the throne room. He watches Izuku skip over to the hag and wave at her. Katsuki's eyes are filled with mischief as he sees the greenette
open his mouth to pressumably greet his mother.

"/Pota ka han iya eroy kararaksot nimo yana nga adlaw!/" Izuku says loudly with a wide smile filled with innocence.

Katsuki tries to hold in his laughter as he watched the chaos unfold. Everybody stopped what they were doing and
turned to look at the Izuku and Mitsuki. The nobles who were present looked scandalized, the advisors looked scared for the small man, while the generals were chuckling. His father shot him a disapproving look while his mother laughed.

"Now who taught you how to say that Izuku?"
Mitsuki asked with an amused look on her face

"Kacchan!" Izuku answers proudly, a collective sigh of relief was heard throughout the room.

"I see! Spoken like a true dragonborne! You even got the intonation correct!"

"/Leche ka/ auntie!"
The innocent and proud look on Izuku's face made Katsuki lose his composure and cackle loudly, making Izuku look at him with confusion. "Kacchan? Are you okay?"

Masaru approaches Izuku with a soft pitying look in his face and whispers into the freckled man's ears the real
meaning of his words. Izuku flushes red with embarrassment and glares at Katsuki once his father finished explaining to the greenette and quietly sits through the entire meeting, only speaking up when asked.

Although he was quickly forgiven, remembering the sad and embarrassed
look on Izuku's face made Katsuki's heart clench in guilt. So he made sure to make it up to Izuku after that by buying him notebooks and feeding him snacks. He even spent 4 hours digging around in the dirt for some stupid rock! But the bright smile that was directed at him
made it all worth it.
- -
"Your highness, the queen requested for you and sir Izuku's presence for the 2 o' clock meeting later. She also emphasized that it would be important that the two of you would be on your best behavior." An advisor approached the two, who were eating
lunch under a tree.

Katsuki feels his temper rise as his alone time was interrupted but forced himself to ask in a calm voice "Did she say why?"

"Yes, a dignitary from the Yagi Kingdom has arrived."

"Fuck." Katsuki hears Izuku murmur with a pale face.
(AN: tweet limits should die tbh

"Pota ka han iya eroy ka raraksot nim yana nga adlaw." = "You're looking really ugly today motherfucker."

"Leche ka" = "Fuck you" but leche can also be translated to milk

"Leche ka gihap, Deku" = "Fuck you too, Deku")
"What do you mean by fuck?" Katsuki turns to Izuku and sees that the smaller man's hands were trembling.

"I should give you two some privacy." The advisor bows and leaves.

Katsuki crosses his arms and narrows his eyes at Izuku. "Okay nerd, tell me what you know."
Izuku continues to tremble and looked paler and paler for each minute that passes by. His mouth opens and closes as he tries and fails to make words come out of his mouth.

Katsuki looks at the clock tower and sees that they have enough time before the meeting starts, so he-
chooses to sit patiently with Izuku. Whatever got the nerd this worked up must be something big. Maybe it had something to do with his origins? "Deku, whatever it is, I want you to know that I won't be mad. You have to remember that I'll always be on your side no matter what."
He hears Izuku inhale deeply, as if he was trying to find the strength to finally speak to him. Izuku finally faces him and his eyes were filled with tears. "Kacchan... if the Yagi kingdom sent a dignitary... I think they're going to ask for our kingdom's help with eradicating
the demons."

Katsuki's brows furrow in confusion, he fought demons all the time, heck Izuku even came along with him a few weeks ago. "Then what's the problem? What's gotten you all worked up?"

The tears from the greenette's eyes now freely fall and a choked sob escapes from
his mouth. His hands reach out towards Katsuki, silently asking. Katsuki gets the message and pulls Izuku into a hug, he then shifts the smaller man around and gets him settled down on his lap. He supresses a shiver as he feels Izuku's arms come up and wrap around his neck.
Katsuki rests his chin on top of Izuku's shoulder and lets the smaller man cry as he continues to rub soothing circles on to the other's back. "K-Kacchan I-I'm scared of the demons... I'm scared of..." Izuku trails off before crying again.

"You don't have to be scared of them-
okay? You're a total bad ass with the sword and you've got wicked cool potions to back you up too. 'sides, before those demons could ever even think about touching you, they'd have to do it over my dead fucking body."

The arms latched around his neck clung on tighter and Izuku
only sobbed harder. It was during moments like this that Katsuki wished he wasn't emotionally constipated and that he knew how to fucking communicate. He wanted to know how to comfort the crying man in his arms but he didn't. He just hopes that his message gets across using his
actions but it based on how his courting was going, it probably wasn't. But that doesn't mean he won't fucking try. So he just sits there and holds the crying man as he murmurs quietly into the other man's ear.

"It's okay, Izuku."

"I'm here."

"I'll always be here."
"You helped so many people with your potions."

"You're so strong for being here."

"You're so, /so/, good to me."

Izuku had finally calmed down after Katsuki started to hum a soft, gentle song.
- -
Apparently, Izuku was right. The dignitary requested for their help in killing off the demons, since it was getting out of hand, especially with rumors of the demon king's return. His mother readily agrees to send a division to assist them when the time comes.
Katsuki would normally be the one to lead the troops, but apparently, King Yagi /specifically/ asked for his assistance in training and accompanying this so called "saintess" who was destined to defeat the demon king.

That was a month ago and Katsuki fucking hates it here.
He hates how he was once again surrounded by people who didn't know shit about him, yet had the motherfucking audacity to judge and ridicule him behind his back.

He hates how he was forced to train this bitch who only accepted the job because she was being /paid/ to do it, not
because the people that she loved were in danger.

But most importantly, he hated how he got separated from Izuku. With the threat of war looming above their heads, the entire goddamn kingdom clearly needed all the mother fucking potions they could ever get. So that left Aizawa
and Izuku burdened with the task to fulfil that need. It was only under Katsuki's insistence that they find another apprentice or potion master to help or at least hire some extra hands to make the process faster. Scared for Izuku's mental health, Katsuki spent his last few days
at his own kingdom, searching for the perfect apprentice, and he did, two of them to be exact. A child with shimmering silver hair and red eyes like his own named Eri and Shinsou, a man his age who scarily reminded him of the potion master. Katsuki left his kingdom with a lighter
heart that day, knowing that at least the greenette was in good hands.

It's only temporary they said. They can be together again when two get settled in with their new roles.

So he waits.

He waits and waits and waits.

Time seemed to slow without Izuku around, a month felt
like decades to him and he didn't fucking like it. It left him to fight demons that he never thought he would ever think of again. Haunting his thoughts and nightmares with malicous and cruel whispers but this time instead of the disembodied voices that he usually hears them in,
it's speaks in the melodious and cheery voice that he's been longing to hear.

You will never be good enough.

You're going to be left behind.

I will never choose you.

I hope I'll never see you again.

I hate you.

I will never love you.

/Goodbye, Kacchan./
Katsuki wakes up with a start, heavily breathing as he blinks at the blank ceiling above his bed. He slowly rises and brings a hand to his face, and grimaces at the wet sensation. God, he's been crying in his sleep again. This seriously needs to fucking stop. He needs to get his
stupid fucking emotions under control. He's been having trouble with sleeping ever since he got here, and as powerful as he was, exhaustion finally caught up to him and it's bitting him in the ass. He takes a deep breath and gets ready to face another shitty day.
As he was walking to the field where he trained Urakaka combat, he bumps into King Yagi. He was probably only royal that Katsuki would willingly bow to, and so he did. He held a deep respect for this man and is one of the main reasons why Katsuki constantly strived for greatness.
He was the leader of the original team that defeated the previous reincarnation of the demon king. As a child, Katsuki would constantly listen to the stories and epics written about the adventures that this legendary man once participated in.

But alas, not even demigods are safe
from the clutches of time. The man who now stood before him was merely a husk of his former self. He looked nothing like the man that was being describe in those songs and paintings. But if there was one thing that Katsuki noticed, it was that this man is happy.
The king offers a warm knowing smile to Katsuki, "Good morning, young Bakugo."

"Good morning, sir." Katsuki replies

The king continues to smile at him, silently observing him and Katsuki just stands there awkwardly waiting for the other to dismiss him or to say something.
"I may be overstepping but you look exhausted, my boy."

"Ah. I've been having some trouble with sleep, sire."

"Hmm. I see." Yagi brings a hand to slightly rub his chin. "Does it have anything to do with your betrothed?"

Katsuki reddens, "Uh... he isn't exactly my betrothed."
"But it is related to him, yes?" The king asks again.

"Kind of."

Yagi looks at him with a calculating gaze before smiling again. "Alright. Why don't you take a break? You can go home for the week. I can take care of the saintess' training for the meantime."
Katsuki's jaw drops. He feels his eyes burn. "R-Really?"

"Yes. It's the least I can do. I've been aware of the... unsavoury words that have been directed at you." Katsuki flinches at that. "And I truly am regretful that I am unable to do anything about that. I'll see to it that
you'll be allowed to go home for a week every month. Maybe you can bring your betrothed with you on one of your returning trips as well. I am willing to accomodate them."

Katsuki bows again. "Thank you, sire."

"Anytime, young Bakugo. I am always willing to lend an ear and offer
what I can to help you." Yagi gently takes hold of his shoulders, spins him around and guides him out to an open space. "Now go."

Katsuki grins and runs to the middle of the field, willing his body to transform into a dragon. With a final wave of goodbye, he leaps into the air
and feels everything snap into place. He lets out a roar and beats his wings to fly as high and as fast as he can.

Fueled by his excitement and desperation to return to his kingdom as soon as possible. He was able to cut down a 24 hour travel time into 18 hours instead by taking
very minimal breaks in between. He arrived early in the morning and he didn't bother to announce his presence at all, choosing to head straight to the baths instead. He can deal with his nagging mother tomorrow, but now he wanted to be clean and get some rest.
After he deemed himself clean enough, Katsuki honestly felt like he was on the vergy of passing out from exhaustion. But he felt like he /needed/ to go see Izuku now. He just wanted to see him. Just a glance, he told himself, to make sure that the other was still okay.
As he nears Izuku's room, his heart clenches when he hears soft sobbing and stiffled whimpers coming from the other side of the door. He softly knocks the door twice and pushes it open. "Deku?"

He sees Izuku snap his head towards his direction, eyes widening in disbelief.
Gods, he looks miserable. His normally vibrant green eyes were now dull and lined with dark circles. His skin looked pale, and he looked skinnier than before Katsuki left the kingdom. "Kacchan? Y-You're really here?"

Katsuki toes off his shoes as he approaches the bed.
"Yes I'm here dipshit. Wanna check out my muscles again?" Katsuki jokes in an attempt to cheer the freckled man up.

"Kacchan! You're really here!" Izuku scrambles to tackle the blond. Katsuki easily catches him and feels hot tears coming from Izuku land on his chest.
"I missed you so so so much!" Izuku pulls back a bit to look at Katsuki in the face. He smiles with happy tears running down his eyes and says softly. "Welcome home."

All thoughts of previous thoughts of doubts, exhaustion and insecurites that existed in Katsuki's mind
disappear at the smile Izuku directed at him. His heart suddenly felt like it was full and was about to burst out his chest, and he couldn't stop the smile that formed on his face. "Yeah. I'm back and I missed you too."
Izuku gently pats Katsuki's shoulders, wordlessly asking to be put down and goes to back lay down on the bed, he scoots a little to the side and lifts up the blanket, "Stay?"

"Alright. But no below the belt touching okay? I like to save myself for marriage." Katsuki chuckles at
his own joke as he gets under the covers, facing Izuku. They silently smile at each other, happy to bask in each other's presence. But Katsuki feels the need to address the elephant in the room. In a soft, gentle voice he asks, "Why were you crying, Deku?"
Izuku slightly frowns at the question, sighing tiredly he replies, "You're not going to let this go, aren't you?"

"I won't, but if you ask me to I will."

Izuku contemplates for a bit before answering, "I want to tell you but... you're going to think it's dumb."
"I won't. Didn't I say that I'll always be on your side? I'll /always/ choose you no matter what."

Katsuki doesn't think that Izuku believed him because he only smiles sadly as he replies, "I don't think I'm ready to tell you yet, but somebody I will. I promise."
"I'll hold you to that then."

From where Katsuki was lying, he could see the sun slowly rise behind Izuku, draping the freckled boy in a soft, golden glow that made him look ethereal. He looked absolutely breathtaking, making Katsuki's heart skip a beat.

"Kacchan?"

"Yeah?"
"I know it's late and you're probably tired but can you... sing me to sleep?"

"What song?"

"I liked the one you hummed to me before, does it have anywords?"

"Yeah, it does but it's in Draconian, you won't be able to understand"

"That's okay, Kacchan has a nice voice anyways."

Enjoy!)

"Okay then nerd." Katsuki laughs softly before taking a deep breath to start singing.
/Umaga na sa ating duyan
Wag nang mawawala
Umaga na sa ating duyan
Magmamahal, oh, mahiwaga

Matang magkakilala
Sa unang pagtagpo
Paano dahan-dahang
Sinuyo ang puso?

Kay tagal ko nang nag-iisa
And'yan ka lang pala./

Izuku happily hums along with Katsuki, clearly enjoying the
song even when he had no idea what it means to him, to Katsuki and it filled his heart with so much warmth and fondness that it made him cling to Izuku tighter.

/Mahiwaga
Pipiliin ka sa araw-araw
Mahiwaga
Ang nadarama sa 'yo'y malinaw

Higit pa sa ligaya
Hatid sa damdamin
Lahat naunawaan
Sa lalim ng tingin/

Katsuki never really thought that he could ever feel this happy and content in his life, and it made him so scared that one day he could suddenly lose everything, and he doesn't know nor does he want to know a world without Izuku by his side.
/Mahiwaga
Pipiliin ka sa araw-araw
Mahiwaga
Ang nadarama sa 'yo'y malinaw

Sa minsang pagbali ng hangin
Hinila patungo sa akin
Tanging ika'y iibiging wagas at buo

Payapa sa yakap ng iyong hiwaga
Payapa sa yakap ng iyong/

It's weird how one man can make him feel so many things
so many things at once, and he doesn't even know of the power he holds over Katsuki.

Katsuki watches Izuku's eyes slowly droop close and feels his breath slow, Katsuki places a gentle chaste kiss on Izuku's forehead and he buries his face on top of green hair.
Somehow, he feels at peace.

/Mahiwaga
Pipiliin ka sa araw-araw
Mahiwaga
Ang nadarama sa 'yo'y malinaw

Mahiwaga
Wag nang mawala araw-araw
Mahiwaga
Pipiliin ka araw-araw/

Oh. A thought comes into Katsuki's head just as he was about to fall asleep.

So this is what love felt like
(AN: AND THAT'S A WRAP FOR PART 4 AAAAAA I HOPE YOU ENJOYED!!! OKAY NOW HERE'S THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE LYRICS!!! I chose this song because it totally fit the vibe and tbh I based a huge chunk of this chapter based on this song Feel free to yell at me about how you feel!
Dawn has come within our cradle
I pray you never fade
Dawn has come within our cradle
I love you, my ethereal

Our eyes must've known each other
Long before they met
How did you slowly
Captivate my heart?

I've been alone for way too long
You've been there all along
Ethereal love
I will choose you now and everyday
Ethereal love
What I feel for you is certainty

What you make me feel
Is more than happiness
Everything is understood
With the depth of your gaze

Ethereal love
I will choose you now and everyday
Ethereal love
What I feel for you is certainty

Sometimes the wind breaks our lines
and pulls us into each other
I will choose nothing
But loving you fully

I find peace
In the embrace of your magic
I find peace
In your embrace
Ethereal love
I will choose you now and everyday
Ethereal love
What I feel for you is certainty

Ethereal love
Please don't fade away in my everyday
Ethereal love
I will choose you now and everyday)
