reasons why you should read/watch silver spoon (gin no saji): a thread <3

GENERAL INFO:
- a slice of life anime about farming!
- written by hiromu arakawa (same mangaka as fullmetal alchemist!)
- about a city boy who goes to an agricultural high school kinda just to Escape you know
- anime is not complete but manga is! it is Definitely worth it to read

(1) it feels So Good to watch
- imo hachiken (the main character) is really relatable!!
- sometimes they say things like This and it Hits

(2) it’s funny! at least i think it is o.O
- egg comes from anus???????
- idk there are a lot of jokes and i enjoyed them a lot. experience them for yourself

(3) it can also get serious!
- lots of interesting family dynamics, especially with parental expectations
- money problems :(
- plus there’s the whole What Am I Gonna Do With My Life sort of thing

(4) the characters are God Tier
- horse girl? jock? otaku? foodie? idiot? capitalist? there are So many of them and i love them all
- honestly what else would you expect from arakawa .. her characters are Always god tier

(5) THE FOOD!!!
- no words. just food

(6) cute animals !!
- LOOK AT THEM!!!!
- AND THERE ARE MORE!!!

(7) sports!!!
- baseball and equestrian clubs!!
- sports are really important aspects to the plot and character arcs!
- plus they are fun!!

(8) also komaba ichirou but idk that’s just me
