HOW TO ORDER BEVERAGES AT THE COFFEE BEAN & TEA LEAF.

Allow me to guide you from A-Z with my knowledge, from beginner to advanced level of coffee/tea drinker.

First of all, please understand that we have various selections of drink to choose from. It can be with or without Espresso (coffee) in the form of HOT, ICED or ICE BLENDED

Besides coffee/non coffee drink, we also serve tea. Either hot tea (the normal tea bag served in hot water), iced tea (sweetened or non sweetened), granita tea (tea ice blended) or tea latte (hot/iced) which I will explain further later.

We have only two sizes of drink, SMALL or REGULAR. The price difference is RM1.40. If you don't mention the size, the barista will directly give you REGULAR sized drink which tbh it's just a normal sized cup that you can get at any other shop.

HOWEVER, if you use CIMB Card (debit or credit), you can get free upsize. For all beverages, you pay for the small size but you will get the regular size. Isn't that great? And this promotion is valid until end of the year.

Okay back to ordering.

Most of the drinks we use Fresh Milk or Skimmed Milk. For lactose intolerant people, the substitutes are SOY MILK or ALMOND MILK. You could request for it without any extra charge.

1. BEGINNER FRIENDLY - NON COFFEE DRINKS

For hot/iced options, right now we have Double Chocolate, Single Origin Chocolate and Vanilla.

Chocolate lover will always go for the classic hot/iced double chocolate. For aesthetic, you can get Single Origin Chocolate.

If you want non-coffee ice blended drinks, look at the menu board that shows the word "PURE". There are Pure Vanilla, Pure Double Chocolate, Pure Caramel and Pure Cookies&Cream. Most of the time I'd suggest Pure C&C Vanilla or Chocolate.

If you love Matcha Green Tea, we also have Matcha Green Tea ice blended (non coffee). It is one of the best, especially if you request the barista to put more matcha, less vanilla.

2. BEGINNER FRIENDLY - COFFEE DRINKS

I understand some people would love to try coffee but not exactly sure on what to order. Well, you can never go wrong with Hazelnut Latte. Most barista here always go for this flavour. As for me personally, I'd go for Caramel Macchiato.

That is if you want hot/iced drink. If you want ice blended, Mocha Ice Blended is the best here for beginner. If you don't like chocolate base, you could go for Hazelnut Ice Blended instead. As for me, I'd prefer Caramel Ice Blended less sweet.

3. INTERMEDIATE - COFFEE DRINKS

This is for the casual coffee drinker. Always go for Mocha Latte. It is the best flavored coffee latte in CBTL. Or else, you can try Double Chocolate Latte or Vanilla Latte. Make it less sweet to taste the coffee better.

If you want Ice Blended drinks, I'd definitely recommend Ultimate Mocha or Ultimate Vanilla. We blend the drink with chocolate coated coffee beans, so you can get the bitterness of the coffee more whilst munching the beans.

4. ADVANCED - COFFEE DRINKS

This is for the hardcore "I cannot live without coffee" person. I'm sure you guys already know the basic type of coffee. Good news for you, we don't put sugar in our macchiato, cafe latte, cappuccino and americano.

If one day you decide to try the flavored coffee, go for Hazelnut Americano less sweet. You'll fall in love. Or else, ask for double cappuccino add-on caramel syrup. You won't regret it.

If suddenly you crave for ice blended, I'd recommend to go with any flavour (Mocha, Vanilla, Hazelnut, Double Chocolate, Caramel) but request for EXTREME and less less sweet (60ml powder only), you will love it.

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT COFFEE? I WANT TEAAAA.

Oh well, we have several hot tea selection to choose from. Firstly you need to decide whether you want Black, Flavored, Green, Oolong, Herbal or Fruit Tea.

If you love black tea, just go for the classic English Breakfast or Estate Darjeeling. Flavored tea, take Tropical Passion or my personal favorite, Earl Grey. Green tea, best sellers are Jasmine Dragon Pearl and Morrocon Mint. Oolong tea, take the newest one Watermelon Oolong.

Herbal tea, people always go for Lemon Chemomile. Fruit tea, the classic Swedish Berries.

If you want sweetened tea latte or in Malay term Teh Tarik but boogie edition, go for Chai Tea Latte, the best seller. I personally love Vanilla Ceylon Tea Latte.

Oh you want tea but cold and refreshing without any milk? We have Cold Brew Tea (non-sweetened) either Ceylon Black or Swedish Berries. Always go for Swedish Berries, the taste is more worthy with the price compare to Ceylon Black.

We also have Cold Brew Sweet Tea, Cold Brew Sparkling Tea and Granita Tea (Tea Ice Blended). These 3 types have 2 flavors to choose either Passion Fruit or Peach Jasmine. I personally like Passion Fruit better.

8. Extreme Hazelnut Ice Blended add-on cookies

9. Pure Double Chocolate Ice Blended with Almond Milk/Fresh Milk

10. Pure Caramel Ice Blended (45 Vanilla) add-on Hazelnut Powder (60)
