(Math Thread 5)
These are only tips + sample problems na usually tinatanong kung paano makukuha yung ganto or ganyan
1: How to Get the Exponential Form of a Number Easily Using a Calculator
log (enter number) ÷ log (enter common ratio)
log (enter number) ÷ log (enter common ratio)
2: Get Used To Using Fractions in Your Calculator Instead of Using Division
3: If the Geometric Sequence is ASCENDING the common ratio is more than 1 (or a whole number). If the sequence is DESCENDING the common ratio is less than 1 or usually a fraction with 1 as its numerator.

4: Wag Kalilimutan ang Parenthesis
Dahil alam kong maraming di gumagamit ng fraction dyan, ingat kayo rito. Masakit na pangyayari ang magkamali rito

6: If a_5 = 32, 768 and a_3 = 512, what is the value of a_1 and r?
Take note of the values to be used

Therefore, you can also use this method if the problem lacks a_1 and r then hinahanap means

Step 1: Assume that the lower term given is the first term (kung ilan binaba ng term na yun, ganun din sa isa)
Step 2: Substitute then solve for r
Step 3: Solve for the REAL a_1 by substituting on an equation using either of the givens OR multiply repeatedly (like what I did)
Step 2: Substitute then solve for r

If you want to know the NEXT term of a sequence, use the common ratio. To get the PREVIOUS term, reciprocate the common ratio.
7: If you encounter a solution where you have to get the root of a negative number, syempre positive muna gamitin mo then whatever the answer, negate it.
