1-When you compile a book or give a lecture, be very careful! Some Da’ees, especially in the west, focus on the number of their followers instead of promoting true Islam with the understanding of the 3 favorite generations. They target the WOW impact on their audience!

2-They invite laymen to reject what great scholars of islam say and ask them to refute it no matter how big the name is! They described it as thinking outside the box while others look at it as thinking outside the fold of Islam!

3-If this invitation came from a qualified Mujtahid scholar who masters the sciences of sharia of the caliber of Sheikh Ibn Othaimeen, that could have been accepted. Inviting laymen to rebel against what they had believed in all of their lives is preposterous.

4-If such an invitation came from someone known to be righteous, practicing or a person of piety, that might have been tolerated! With neither conditions applying, we are left only with a wicked desire for recognition and making money through their institutions and lectures!

5-Don’t be deceived by their rhetoric and eloquent words. The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said: “That which I fear the most for my ummah is every well spoken hypocrite”

6-A word of advice to them and myself; Allah says:”That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth or corruption. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.” 28:83 O turner of hearts, make our hearts steadfast on Your religion.
