I am a criminal barrister. I prosecute and defend some of the most serious and harrowing cases imaginable. I don't bring politics into any part of my work. Why? Because it has no bearing on anything. I work within the parameters of the law, set by the government.

I do it because I care deeply about fairness and the rule of law. I care that victims of crime have their cases properly presented and I care that those accused of crimes have their cases properly tested, because they are innocent until proven guilty.

I do not pick and chose the cases I work on. I do not judge. You do not want me to judge or pick and chose. Because one day, it might be you or someone you love who needs a lawyer and you will not want me to turn my back on you.
