After numerous conversations with @Arsenal fans today over the Özil issue, I've one big insight: We Arsenal fans need to have honest conversations with ourselves.

Question every bit of what the club is doing, as much as we question Mesut.
Think logically. Why wouldn't Özil play?

It's not forbidden. Ask yourself.

WHO leaked Özil's name selectively out of the 3 players who refused to voluntarily contribute?
WHAT have the @Arsenal board & Kroenke's contributed for the staff?
CAN Özil turn so bad in 3 months that he doesn't make the squad for Carabao Cup?

We get manipulated. We miss subtle details. And it's us fans who are used as PR pawns by the board trying to act innocent on this issue.
This is NOT anything like the @Arsenal we know. The club's culture is being torn apart.

Lastly, WHY sack Jerry Guy publicly?
Ask yourself.

If you try a power-play on Özil expecting he'll just leave, he won't. He actually gives a damn about the club. Unlike Stan, who starved Wenger of any money for 9 years.

Mesut's camp is rightly using a tit for tat game-theory ploy. And @Arsenal are losing it. Deservedly so.
