The “Black Egyptian” theorists are back.
For the last time, classifying ancient Egyptians under modern racial categories like “black” or “white” is anachronistic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Egyptian_race_controversy
Ancient Egypt was ethnically and phenotypically diverse with people of various skin colors. Some had lighter skin, some had darker. The ancient Egyptians understood this pretty well.
I had people on my Minoan video claiming all/most of the Minoans were “black” which again is anachronistic and inaccurate.
Civilizations like "Egypt" lasted for thousands of years, encompassed a massive geographic area, and in some regions were very metropolitan. "Egyptians" would have no doubt belonged to many ethnic groups and taken many different appearances.
Just saying all of them were "black" or "white" is a gross oversimplification of human diversity.
