Last election, I saw folks I used to be in deep relationship with act as single issue voters who casted ballots for Trump because of their stance on abortion.

It's to them I say, don't be so concerned with possibilities that you avert your attention from actuality.

People are actually dealing w/white supremacists feeling empowered by a president who not only won't denounce them but who tells them to stand by.

People are actually going thru the hell of their kids being separated from them before they are deported & the kids get trafficked.

People are actually living in as suspended state of anxiety as xenophobia fuels things like Muslim bans, ICE raids, & assaults on Asians.

People are actually struggling because they've lost their jobs and other resources due to intentional mismanagement of COVID by this admin.

People are actually dealing with heartache, exhaustion, and harassment because of the ways in which their rights and daily state of being are constantly under threat because they are LGBTQ.

People are actually dealing with others impeding on their agency and ability to be safe or well because of their beliefs.

Beloveds, it's not you job to tell folks what to do with their bodies & what's happening in them. It's your job to vote for laws & people who will address the state of reality folks are facing so that they can receive the supports and resources they need to be well.
