Overall, there are obvious issues with trying to hold a census next March. The census agencies aim for a high level of response online (e.g. target rate: 75%), but that will still need major field exercise for follow-up.

Online response may be good - many more people now used to working online - but enumerators might be met by unwillingness to interact on doorstep due to safety concerns?

Even if field work is not an issue, 2021 census will have some notable features, especially for census nerds
