1/ Last night, private Slack chats were dropped for Boulder& #39;s anti-homeless group Safer Boulder. Safer Boulder (SB) are a group comprised of mostly progressive liberal community members, who pretend to push for more resources for houseless community members.
2/ However, in the leaked chats, SB members are unabashedly racist, ableist, transphobic & classist - many members going so far as to fantasize about the violence they& #39;d like to inflict against houseless members in Boulder. 5/ Next up is Todd Root of Boulder Bike Sharing. His contributions to the chat are particularly violent & horrifying. He has expressed his desire to tie up houseless young ppl to 5 lb buckets of feces, as well as posting racist comments in response to racially motivated policing.
