A thread for Indiana voters about voting on retention of state appellate court judges— (1)
Several appellate-court judges are up for a retention vote this year. Six are on Indiana's intermediate appellate court, the Indiana Court of Appeals. One of these judges, Judge Bradford, is the court's chief judge. (2)
Another judge is on the state's highest court, the Indiana Supreme Court. This is Justice Goff, who is the newest judge on the court (he was appointed in 2017). (3)
Indiana's selection process for appellate-court judges—which is regarded as one of the nation's soundest—almost always yields high-quality jurists. I've litigated appeals before four of the seven judges, and I don't have concerns about any of the seven. (4)

P.S.: If you're a Marion County resident, some Marion County trial-court judges are also up for retention. All of them have been rated as qualified and have been recommended for retention. https://calendar.in.gov/site/courts/event/supreme-marion-county-judges-qualified-by-commission-1/?fbclid=IwAR06GmZNPzBZbMDHRbvyymOF7Rvl7YcX-oJwX-Y6i_SjJVDWI4nL4NPy_EY
