Every fucking week there is a kpop incident and everyone talks about it for a day at most and then moves on like nothing ever happened, turns it into a meme or weaponizes it for stan arguments. You bitches ain’t about shit. so now let’s UNPACK

Let’s talk about how when black stans are affected by shit your faves did and try to speak out on it, they get threatened or doxxed to force them into silence or deactivation and how FREQUENTLY it happens but y’all want to cancel Rihanna INDEFINITELY?!

Now there is a certain fanbase in particular that places themselves at the forefront of all this. There is a video clip going around with 1M views full of mess. Ask them to show you an apology from EVERY party involved and they’ll have nothing of the sort. WHAT’S THAT ABOUT?!

Don’t get me wrong. I am a kpop fan as well & I’m a fan of some groups with members that have done some crazy unforgivable shit. When the conversation comes up, I am more than happy to DIG INTO IT bc my blackness comes before any korean idol. These girls have ZERO self awareness

Mind you this a side of twitter where every week, there is a scandal about one of them on here running an acc as a “black person” when in reality, they ARE NOT. Until y’all are ready to have THE CONVERSATION about what it means to be black or poc fan of kpop, do NOT SPEAK
