If you want to become a solicitor, then maybe you ought to need a higher CGPA or good reading skill.
But
No law subject ever taught you what you should do if a particular governmental body wouldn’t pick up your call after calling them for a week.
No law subject would teach you what to do when the police wouldn’t want to release your client even after the Magistrate has denied a remand order.
No law subject has ever prepared you to handle a client whom used good accounting skill and tax evasion to scam his funders.
No law subject would tell you to use ‘kata ganti nama ketiga’ when addressing every party involved in a court proceeding.
I failed Torts I and Consti I during first semester.

I failed Torts II twice and only passed during my 8th semester

I failed Consti II 3 times consecutively and only passed after 4th attempt
I was the first, one and only student to have failed International Trade (elective subject) twice and managed to pass on 3rd attempt just because the lecturer said my answer was answer similar to his and accused me to have broken the UiTM vault to get myself a copy of the answer
I was thrown out from a class during my last semester for being absent in a class whom a lecturer has said that attendance in her class was not mandatory
My group assignment gave me a second draft of agreement during viva. We were supposed to have the final draft each.

Won some cases on my own. My de facto master never brought me to trial. I have to learn how to cross examine from ‘The Practice’ and text books. Your hands shivers during your first trial.
