🔥Undercover Billionaire Thread🔥

@paik_michael mentioned the show and it’s many lessons.

I’ve compiled 25 lessons and 2 bonus observations.

Observing a master businessman go from $100 to business in 90 days is awe inspiring.

Find out what I learned 👇
Lesson 1: it’s really hard to get momentum.

It will be harder than you expected, but you need to keep driving forward.

The breakthrough will come.
Lesson 2: Make sure your needs are met so you can focus on the real work.

@CJ_Johnson17th has an awesome video about the financial hierarchy of needs.

This is what it’s about.
Lesson 3: Decisively choose a direction.

Then surround yourself with people who are strong in your areas of weakness.

Chose people who want to go in the same direction.
Lesson 4: Human capital is most important asset in a business.

The main criteria for hiring someone is personality.

Are they going to fight hard, stay long, and fight for the company.

Look at their eyes. Do they see the dream? Will they look back and say that was fun!
Lesson 5: Be ready to pivot.

Not everything goes to plan.

How can you change directions when necessary?
Lesson 6: Don’t commit to other people’s timeframes.

You can do more with less if you focus.

A lot more.
Lesson 7: Surround yourself with the experts in their field.

Not just good people, but the best.

They want a challenge. Give it to them.
Lesson 8: Vet your business idea before going too far.

Test and research.

Don’t commit blindly!
Lesson 9: Give people a chance to come through.

When they don’t, give them clear instructions and a second chance.

If they still fail to come through, you picked the wrong person. Move on.
Lesson 10: If you are going to build your dream, be prepared for setbacks.

It’s how you handle them that makes the difference.
Lesson 11: Turn Rivals into Revenue.

Eliminate potential conflicts by striking deals that are mutually beneficial.

How can you work with others in your space?
Lesson 12: If you spot talent, find a place for it on your team.

If a spot doesn’t exist, create one.

Remember human capital is your greatest asset.
Lesson 13: What’s really important is to focus on what matters.

Be clear about what you want and cut out the things that are not essential.
Lesson 14: The word “no” is only the start of the conversation.

A good business can handle the no, and will come back with a solution.
Lesson 15: Don’t wait for the perfect opportunity to fall in your lap.

It never will.

Get started and sort things out on the way.
Lesson 16: The days you have setbacks are the days you fight.

That’s the only way you win.

Extra effort when it’s hard separates you from your competition.
Lesson 17: Don’t pigeon hole your people.

Use ALL their abilities.

People will surprise you with what they can do.
Lesson 18: Once it’s time to take your product to market, you need to go through it meticulously.

Act like a pilot on a flight check.

This gives you a chance to correct errors before your customer sees them.
Lesson 19: If things go wrong, don’t go with them.

Don’t lose your cool, focus on communication.

There will be problems and bumps in the road.

Focus on solution thinking to get through it.
Lesson 20: Shut up and listen.

Listen to your experts and think about their feedback and critiques.

You put good people around you, let them handle what they are good at!
Lesson 21: It is inexcusable to not learn from your mistakes.

You must use mistakes to improve.

Making excuses instead of progress is a sign that person doesn’t belong in the business.
Lesson 22: If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

If you can’t handle the pressure of the job, you don’t need to do it.

Find people who can handle the pressure when putting them in positions of responsibility.
Lesson 23: When conflict arrives, combat is optional.

Stay calm.

It’s easy to fight when there is tension. Avoid the temptation.
Lesson 24: Endure more pain than anyone else.

Don’t quit. Anyone can build a successful business, but...

It’s hard and success comes to those who push through the pain.
Lesson 25: Don’t confuse effort with results.

Spinning wheels only works if you are moving forward!

Make sure you are working efficiently.
Bonus Lesson: Experience in one arena doesn’t always translate to others.

Make sure that you are playing to your strengths.
Bonus Lesson: Sequence Matters!

You may have all the right ideas, but if you don’t go in the right order, it may not work.

This lesson applies universally.
That’s it!

Thank you for making it through, have a blessed day!
