I know other people’s dreams are crashingly boring, but I have to share an amazing one I had last night...

Usually my dreams are pedestrian re-enactments of things that have happened that day, with the occasional stress induced saga about having to take one of my (former) cats somewhere in an inadequate bag with no transport

But this was different. It was so vivid that for a moment I believed it had actually happened when I first woke up, and was devastated to realise it hadn’t.

I dreamt ...

... I had two packs of mushrooms in the fridge and not one ...

And when I woke up I thought ‘Brilliant, I can make mushroom soup for lunch.’

.............

Devastating

Guess what? I still made mushroom soup for lunch. I just bulked it up with leeks.
