@tvmiiser There is a serious discrimination which is happening with respect to allotment of IISER seats. SA Ranks all the way from double digit AIR to 800- AIRs have not received any seats at all, not even in the last choice, while we have reports of 900+ SA AIR getting a seat.

Multiple Gmails on this topic has been met with the same response, that the entire selection procedure has been done on the basis of ranks. If that is true @tvmiiser , then may I know why two double digit SA AIRs(confidentiality maintained on request) could not make into IISER?

Even if the percentage of KVPY seats are then, at least the double digit AIRS in KVPY SA should have got into atleast some stream and some some IISER. But these students who have already been admitted to IISC could not make it to any IISER. Seriously, @tvmiiser , ranks?seriously?

The selection procedure is clearly botched up. And yet @tvmiiser refuses to admit it. As for myself i have KVPY SA AIR 303, yet I have not been able to get any seat in any IISER. And please don't send that rank Gmail in reply. We are already fed-up of it.

And media houses, @htTweets @timesofindia @TheQuint @ABPNews , if we are done with the drugs in bollywood, maybe we can also take a bit of focus in this issue where the future of around 700 of the most talented academic minds in #India is at stake. Please see the entire thread.

@tvmiiser please make the selection procedure transparent. Okay, let me assume that your selection procedure is correct, then may we have a PDF of the the students who were selected from SA along with their KVPY ranks, displayed on http://www.iiseradmission.in/  .

And I can guarantee that you cannot post the list, of SA candidates selected with their KVPY SA ranks because even you know that the thing is botched up @tvmiiser .

@EduMinOfIndia PLEASE INTEREFERE in IISER selection procedure. SA candidates are facing a huge #Discrimination . As for myself I have prepared backups for myself to fall back upon, but a lot of KVPY scholars don't have the backups, their only option remains a drop. (check thread)

@Swamy39 please check this thread out. KVPY Scholars' SA stream, are clearly being #discriminated (entire reason in thread) against in IISER admissions. Neither is @tvmiiser acknowledging the problem, nor rectifying it. Please help us out.

And if @tvmiiser refuses to rectify the admission process, we students shall have to take the legal route. We cannot endanger our future, simply because there are people who have egoistic issues, or whatever which causing them not to acknowledge the problem while it lies infront
