The Myth of Aryan Invasion

Most scholars agree that many ancient cultures and their associated religious beliefs have striking similarities. CL Woolley in his book "The Sumerians" says that the facial characteristics of Sumerian people can be traced to Afghanistan, Balochistan and over to the Indus region
Woolley makes this statement based on his extensive research on the rectangular seals which have identical subjects, engraving and inscription as well as method of construction. LA Waddell goes a little further. In his book "The Indo Sumerian Seals Deciphered" Waddell suggests
that the Aryan Society existed as far back as 3100 BCE if not much earlier. Waddell unambiguously proves that the language and religion of the "Indo Aryans" were radically similar to Sumerians and Phoenicians. Waddell feels that that the early Sumerians on the Persian gulf were
Phoenicians who were Aryans who were the holders of a highly developed civilization in India, who later migrated through Mediterranean, North West Europe and Britain.

That introduction brings us to the all important question about the origin of Aryans and the so called Invasion
Many scholars, notably Max Muller, advocate a theory of Aryan Invasion, whether such an invasion took place is doubtful. It looks more likely that Aryans were native Indians. Different scholars put the timeline of such invasion differently. It ranges from 1500 BCE to 800 BCE
They say Aryans entered India from the North and composed Vedas. If that is true, Rigveda must have been composed after 1500 BCE. But not all are in agreement. This idea is based on a misinterpretation of the Vedas. They quote the battle between Sudas & 10 kings.
Let us remember that this theory was hypothesised in the 19th century based on similarities between Sanskrit and European languages. Deen Chandora in his classic work "Revisiting Indus-Sarasvati Age and Ancient India (p.383) contends that this theory was not just a misguided
research but a conspiracy to distribute misinformation that was formulated on April 10, 1866 at in London at a secret meeting at Royal Asiatic society so that no Indian would say that British are foreigners and Indians were always ruled, to remain slaves under Christian rule.
So it was basically a linguistic theory. Max Muller believed in Christian chronology. That world was created in the morning of Oct 23, 4004 BCE! Today, elementary school children know this is false! But for Muller, since the great flood took place in 2500 BCE, it was impossible
to give a date for Aryan Invasion before 1500 BCE! That was mere manipulation to adjust events quoted in Christianity! To establish his motive, in 1866 he wrote to his wife: "this edition of mine and translation of Veda, will hereafter tell to a great extent, on the fate of india
and growth of millions in that country. It is the root of their religion and to show them what the root is, I feel sure,is the only way of uprooting all that has sprung from it, during the last 3000 years"! (The Life and Letters of RH Friedrich Max Muller vol 1, p 346)
So, we can reasonably conclude that this theory was a British invention to divide Indians and conquer the land. So under scrutiny, this whole theory is baseless. John Marshall, Chief Excavator at Mohenjo-Daro offers proof that the Vedas existed far before any so called invasion
Evidence at Mehrgarh point to a civilization that dates back to 6500 BCE at least. It had been connected with Indus culture but was deserted around 3000 BCE, possibly after Mahabharata war. Evidence of floods is seen in the thick silt in the upper strata of Mohenjo-Daro
So, it was ecological reason that forced people to move on! Many of the Indus sites like Kalibangan were close to the old Saraswati River. Saraswati River is full of praise in Rigveda, not Sindhu (Indus) or Ganga. recent research indicates that the Saraswati stopped flowing
around 8000 BCE and completely dried up around 1900 BCE, that is, by the end of Indus civilization. So, the question that begs answer is "if the Vedas are brought in by some invading Aryan nomadic tribe around 1500 BCE how come the Veda knows the existence of Saraswati as a major
"flowing" majestic river? So, Vedas should have been composed far before Indus civilization! Research indicates that Indus sites were abandoned NOT because of war or invasion BUT because of a 300 year long draught! This is the same draught that destroyed Akkadians.
JF Jarrige & RH Meadow in the August 1980 issue of Scientific American conclude that the culture is earlier than 6000 BCE! No outside invasion. Astronomical reference in Rigveda match with dates of Mehrgarh. Harappan script has been deciphered by Dr. SR Rao. He has proved that
South Arabic, Old Aramaic and old Indian Brahlmi scripts are derivatives of Vedic script. This research conclusively proves that Harappan civilization wals not any Dravidians who were thrown southward by some invading Aryan. The excavation at various sites now prove, beyond any
reasonable doubt that they were all indigenous Aryans and no invasion ever happened.

Conclusion: Aryan Invasion Theory doesn't stand scientific scrutiny. It's a myth created by British to self serve their political and religious agenda
