Okay, time for a new pinned tweet. I& #39;m being more outspoken, and I see more people checking my profile to see what box they can put me in, what label they can apply in order to dismiss my opinions, etc.
So let& #39;s get to the details:

1) Nope, not a ___ist. I& #39;m perfectly happy living among other races/genders/cultures/etc. and I often enjoy the benefits of mixing and melding them. My only demand is that the people I live among 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 this same view. If they don& #39;t, I& #39;ll speak out to defend myself or others.
2) Nope, not a Republican, or a Democrat. I& #39;m an independent. I don& #39;t like the idea that I have to like everything a party stands for, mainly because I don& #39;t agree with everything 𝘢𝘯𝘺 party stands for. American political parties all have extremists and fools in them.
3) Nope, not a centrist either. I don& #39;t cut the child in half in a divorce case. I& #39;m pragmatic and I choose the best option, based on the circumstances, not my political party. I don& #39;t sit on a fence unless I feel I am not sufficiently informed, and that& #39;s only until I feel I am.
4) Nope, not ignorant. I have a bachelor& #39;s degree in CompSci from a liberal-arts university. I& #39;ve spent decades in a professional career. I also spend a lot of time searching deep down end-user-news-story rabbit holes to find the real sources & data to analyze for myself.
5) Nope, not naïve. I& #39;m not a spring chicken, and one of my favorite pastimes is people-watching. I don& #39;t mean simply looking at people walking by: I like watching what people 𝘥𝘰 and learning 𝘸𝘩𝘺. I like to read medical/psych/philosphy texts & journals. I like understanding.
6) Nope, not... 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵... a weeb.

7) Nope, not ... well, any of the other labels you probably want to put on me to feel smug and dismiss me. I am what I say to you, not what someone told you a label would make me. If I didn& #39;t say it, don& #39;t assume or imply that I thought it. Ask me directly. It& #39;s not that hard.
