This years #EMP_E2020 has started. @RL_Institut helped to initiate this outstanding conference 4 years ago. It's a video conference, hope to see you in Brussels next year. I participated in many contributions, it summarizes the projects and tools I'm working on. My first thread:
1/6 Research project #SzenarienDB - Creation of an open database infrastructure.
We are improving the #OpenEnergyPlatform #OEP and developing the #OpenEnergyOntology #OEO.
#OpenScience and research data infrastructure for #FAIR data management.
2/6 Open Energy Ontology (OEO) – An Ontology for the Domain of Energy System Modelling.
A collaborative and cross-project domain ontology within the field of energy system modelling. https://openenergy-platform.org/ontology/
3/6 Research project #open_MODEX - Comparison of five Open-Source Frameworks for Energy System Analysis. Analyse strengths and weaknesses of the individual frameworks to identify similarities, differences, and possible synergies between the frameworks.
4/6 OEDatamodel - An #OpenData model for energy system modelling.
The newest member of the #OpenEnergyFamily. A common data model and datapackage format for energy and scenario data with extensive #metadata (oemetadata).
5/6 Research project E-LAND @elandh2020 - An #OpenSource simulation tool for sector-coupled energy system optimization: Multi-Vector Simulator (MVS) based on the Open Energy Modeling Framework #oemof.
6/6 The Open Energy Family #OEFamily - A collection of various tools and information that help working with #energy related data. An #OpenScience and #OpenData framework for collaborative #ResearchDataManagement #RDM in energy system analysis #ESA.
