Mask mandates worked in Israel until they didn't. They worked in CA until the surge started. They worked in NY after they got crushed but apparently have recently stopped working
They "work" in the sense that they reduce cases but not in the sense that they "solve" this crisis

A lot of people wish this crisis was simple enough for them to propose a nice, easy solution that we could all have this go away if only those jerks I hate stopped making things worse
